EDIT 2: You can now find all the frames, and more explanation below:
Only the preloader (which is of course courtesy deviantART) is FLASH. The whole animation is done in Photoshop and Paint Tool SAI as a part of my final project So what do you think? Smooth? What you are looking at is about a hundred hand drawn frames with my toy table as reference for movement.
If you guys like this, I'll show you ALL the frames together as one HUGE layer stack, but only if you want to
Man, animation is something else. Even something as simple as a table spinning is exciting because of the idea of movement, which attracts my eye, and I'm sure others' eyes as well. I should look into animation sometime when I'm free.
This looks really awesome. I kinda want to do some 2d animations, but I know how much drawing it would required and, aggggg, I don't have the time. maybe in the future, but for now I stick to 3d animations.
2D animation is all about drawing, atleast the traditional method is. You could also puppet pin tool it, but that requires lot of experience and knowledge of layers, check out DanSyron and his animations. he's a master of that. 3D animation is awesome as well, in its own way. I like to think that it depends a lot on the rig though. you can only animate so much if there is a crappy rig and skin system, right?
